Тема: School years are wonderful, aren′t they?

Цели:

• Развитие лексических навыков по теме «Школа»

• Закрепление навыков монологической речи

• Активизация фонетических и орфографических навыков

• Активизация навыков аудирования.

Оборудование:

• Лексическое задание на карточках по количеству учащихся

• Компьютер, презентация Power Point

• Магнитофон, CD диск

Ход урока:

I Организационный момент

Good morning, children. Sit down, please. Before we start our lesson, I would like you listen the poem by Susan Whitworth. Please, listen the poem attentively

Good, how do you think, why did you listen to this poem? What is the poem about?

Fine. What is the theme of our lesson today?

Yes, that′s right. Today we shall have a talk about our school years. (Слайд №2 )

II Фонетическая разминка

Look at the blackboard, please. Let′s remember the words on the topic “School”. Can you read the words? You see that they are written with mistakes. Correct the mistakes. (Слайд № 3 )

III Закрепление навыков монологической речи

So, pupils. Some pupils like their school years, others don′t. Do you agree with me? Share your ideas. You will work in group of four and prove your opinion to your partners. What do you think about school years?

And now let′s have a rest and do some exercises. (Слайд № 5 )

V Развитие лексических навыков по теме «Школа»

Every day a lot of pupils go to school to study. They learn many new things there. Let′s read the examples from Ex. 47,p. 71 and compare the words “to study” and “to learn”. You will read the sentences and translate them one by one. (Слайд № 6)

VI Первичное закрепление введенного лексического материала

Let′s try to use the words “to learn”, “to study” in the sentences Ex. 48, p. 71.

Now you have cards on your tables. Please fill the words “to learn”, “to study” in sentences. Then you will change your copybook with your partner and check this exercise.

VII Активизация фонетических навыков и навыков аудирования

How many subjects do you study in school?

What is your favourite subject?

Open the Student′s book on page 72, Ex. 50 listen to the speaker. (Слайд № 8)

VIII Итог урока и рефлексия

Today you have worked very well. Thank you for it. Write your homework. St.b p. 94, Ex.23, 24. (Слайд № 9)
