Внеклассное мероприятие

Тема: Рождество в Британии

Цели и задачи:

• развивать интерес к изучению английского языка;

• воспитывать уважение к культуре и традициям своей и другой страны;

• систематизировать знания учащихся по теме “Рождество”.

Оборудование: 

1. оформление кабинета: картинки с изображениями символов Рождества с подписями на английском языке (зелень, колокольчик, олень и т.д.)

2. компьютер: презентация «Рождество в Британии», песни;

3. Ёлка

4. ёлочные игрушки: шары, ангелы, колокольчики, звезда

5. чулок для подарков

6. венок

Good morning, dear children! I’m very glad to see you.

Today is the 24^th of December. In Britain it is Christmas Eve (Канун Рождества, Рождественский сочельник).

People think that Christmas Eve is the most wonderful and magic time.

People, nature – everything wait for the birth of the Christ-child.

Christmas is a religious holiday .
It’s celebrated on the 25-th of December. On this day British people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ . This holiday means the beginning of the new year and the new life.

Christmas is the most popular holiday in Great Britain. People like to celebrate Christmas very much. It is a family holiday.

They decorate a beautiful Christmas tree with toys, colourful balls and lights. They decorate their homes, too.

People send greetings cards to their friends and buy many gifts.

They have a merry party and a holiday dinner. They wear funny costumes, sing songs, dance to music and play games.

One of Christmas traditions is singing carols.

Christmas carols are the joyful songs about Jesus Christ and His birth.

On Christmas Eve children hang colourful stockings so that Santa Claus could put presents into them: oranges, sweets, nuts.
He comes at night and puts presents into the stockings and under the Christmas tree.
In the morning children find their presents there.

Christmas is a family holiday and people celebrate it with their families.

English families gather to have Christmas dinner.

They eat traditional Christmas food: a roast turkey and a pudding.

This tradition appeared in England in 1843. People send Christmas cards to their relatives and friends and wish them a Merry Christmas.

Children, we have a Christmas tree here, but it is not decorated. Let’s decorate it.

Santa Claus has brought some toys for our tree. Please, take a toy out of the stocking, name it in English and hang it in the tree.

Учащиеся достают по очереди ёлочные игрушки из рождественского чулка, называют по-английски и вешают на маленькую ёлку.

Oh, look at our Christmas tree! We have decorated it. It’s very beautiful now. There are bells, angels, balls and a red star in it. But there are no gifts under it. I have small toy gifts and I put them under the tree.

And now let’s sing a wonderful song “Jingle Bells”

Конкурс “Блиц-вопрос”

Рождество – один из самых главных и весёлых праздников. Вы, конечно знакомы с его традициями. Первый наш конкурс – “Блиц – вопрос”. Вопросы задаются каждой команде по очереди. Если команда не может ответить на него, то право ответа переходит другой команде. За каждый правильный ответ команда получает игрушку.

Вопросы для первой команды:

• Когда Рождество празднуется в России?

• Как зовут английского Деда Мороза?

• Какие животные везут сани Деда Мороза?

• Где живёт Санта-Клаус?

• На день Святого Валентина англичане посылают друг другу валентинки, а на Рождество?

Вопросы для второй команды:

• Когда Рождество празднуется в Англии?

• Традиционное рождественское блюдо у англичан.

• Кто везёт сани Санта-Клауса?

• Где живёт Дед Мороз?

• Что вешают на камин и для чего?

Конкурс “Головоломки”

Каждая команда получает “пакет с головоломкой” (на экране компьютера для каждой команды набраны буквы вразброс). Нужно как можно быстрее собрать её. (Слова: Stocking – Christmas)

Конкурс “Шифровки”

Каждая команда получает “шифровку”.

Задание: расшифровать и перевести то, что там написано. В “шифровках” находятся части слов. Нужно правильно составить слова, прочитать и перевести их. (Слова для первой команды: December, angel, sleigh, bells, snowman; слова для второй команды: holiday, Santa, Christmas, decorate, candle.)

Динамическая пауза “Танец снежинок”

Ребятам предлагается исполнить танец снежинок под музыку. Лучшие исполнители танца награждаются жюри.

 Конкурс “Ёлочка”

Маленькой ёлочке холодно зимой,
Из лесу ёлочку взяли мы домой...

Задание: каждой команде нарисовать ёлку на бумаге, прикреплённой к доске. Затем команды получают материалы для изготовления ёлочных игрушек (спичечный коробок, пустое яйцо, клей, нитки, ножницы, цветная бумага). Необходимо за 5 минут изготовить ёлочную игрушку. При оценивании учитывается скорость и эстетика выполнения.

Конкурс “Снеговики”

Обеим командам предлагается нарисовать с помощью мелков на доске снеговика. Рисунки выносятся на суд жюри.

А сейчас на нарисованную ёлку прикрепите все игрушки, которые вы получили за конкурсы.

Жюри вручает за победу в конкурсах жетоны в виде ёлочных игрушек, а также поощряет активных членов команды.
