Form 9 ( the second foreign, the fifth year)


Theme: Science and Technology

Aims and Objectives of the lesson

Aims / Objectives: The students will be able to greet each other, meet and say goodbye, to operate Language tools and skills them (drawing, calligraphy) and graphically reproduce correctly the letters of English alphabet (Phonetic aspect of speech) to distinguish between the ear and adequately pronounce the sounds of English language, observing the rules of pronunciation of sounds. Communication: adequate use of speech means to solve the communication problem

the pupils will be able to learn to start a dialogue-questioning in standard situations

The student will have the opportunity to learn how to begin a dialogue-questioning.

The student will be able to learn to use contextual or linguistic guess the perception of texts on the hearing, contain unfamiliar words.

Level: Beginner or pre-intermidiate

Equipment: Textbooks, pictures, handouts for individual and group work

Introduction

This lesson provides students with a live listening on the topic of the teacher’s personal interests and opinions. The students then use this as a model to chat about similar topics with their classmates using basic tences and a variety of structures.

Procedure/Activities

1. Greeting

Teacher: Good morning, everyone. I’ glad to see you. Are you OK today?

Poem: Good morning, good morning! Good morning to you…

Song: Hello! Hello! Hello!


2. Warming up: EVERY DAY IN EVERY WAY

MY ENGLISH IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!

Look at the blackboard and tell the Date of today and the Theme! So, what are we going to do at the lesson and what are we going to speak about?

Yes, the Theme is Science and Technology and we realy going to speak about… But befor we start let’s revise the … Let’s sing a song.

10.Your hometask for the next lesson will to Look at the words and phrases in the Phrase bank and complete your expressions. Ex 6 p 126 read, choose an answer; Ex 7 p 127 find and match the headlines.Complete the sentences. Listen, read and speak on the topic. Have you any questions? Is everything clear?
