Урок

Подтема: Я умел читать, когда мне было 5 лет.

Цель: Практиковать учеников в употреблении глаголов can и have в прошедшем неопределенном времени. Развивать навыки диалогической и монологической речи по теме. Воспитывать уважение, вежливость.

Оборудование: Учебник О.Д. Карп’юк 4 класс, мяч, тетрадь, W.B.

Ход урока

 

I. Организационный момент

1. Greeting

T: Good morning! I’m glad to see you. How are you today? (Мяч) Who’s absent today? What day is it today?

2. Aim

T: Today we'll speak about what you could do and what you had in the past.

3. Warming up

“Musical career”

She wanted to play the piano,

But her hands couldn’t reach the keys.

When her hands could finally reach the keys,

Her feet couldn’t reach the floor.

When her hands could finally reach the keys,

And her feet could finally reach the floor,

She didn’t want to play that old piano any more.

T: Have you ever been to a Cookery Party? What do you think: the Cookery Party is called so because:

-          People cook during the party;

-          People cook food before the party and bring it to the party;

-          This is a party where professional cooks are present?

T: Read the dialogue quickly and say if Vicky liked the party. Why?

3)      Post-reading

-          I could swim when I was six.

-          My friend could play football when he was five.

T: In the dialogue Vicky said: “We had some chocolate”, “He had sweets”. Had is the past form of the word have: I have a dog now, but when I was a child I had a cat.
