Theme:  What do you eat for breakfast?   Literature: T.Ayapova

Aims:  Development of pupils’ skills in speaking, reading, listening.

             To enrich pupils’ knowledge on the topic.

            To enlarge pupil’s active vocabulary. To teach pupils

            To know  streets and names of buildings.

Language material:

            Reading and speaking.

            Listen and repeat the new words. Asking and answering the questions.

            Visual aids: Cards and pictures, books and copy-books. Printed papers, CD.

The type of the lesson: Mixed.

                        The procedure of the lesson:

I Organization moment:

            Greeting each other;

            Marking  absentees.

II Phonetic drill:

  • Now, I want you to read and learn this poem.

            I like fish.                                                           

         I like eggs.                                                       

         I like cheese and meat.                          

         I like biscuits.                                                 

         In fact I like to eat.                                      

Pupils listen and repeat the poem. Then they read it one by one.

III Checking up home task:

  • Your home task was- to learn by heart your new wordsand to make up a dialogue with your partner.

Who wants to go to the blackboard?

Pupils role-play their dialogues in pairs at the blackboard.

In order to check hoe did you learn the new words I want you to do this task:

Find and write the words:

There are pictures on the paper  and unscramble the words:

Meat/ milk/ juice/bread/water/tea/chocolate/apple/coffee/

IV The main stage of the lesson:

Learning new words: ex.1 on page 150

  • What do you eat for breakfast?
  • I eat …. for breakfast.
  • I have…. for breakfast

-There are some new words for you, let’s learn them. Look at the blackboard , listen and repeat after me.

         Breakfast –та??ы ас(завтрак)        lunch- екінші та??ы ас ( ланч)

         Dinner- т?скі ас( обед)                     supper- кешкі ас (ужин)

         Name: Asel Bolatkyzy

         Colour of hair: black

         Colour of eyes: brown

         Height: 5feet

         Weight: 105pounds

Teacher reads the ex-e and explains it to pupils.

One pund equals to 453 grams

 

Pupils write this information in their note-books.

Game:  How much is it? Math game

A kilo equals 2.2 pounds.                                                    Equal = те?

10kilos equals … pounds.

60kilos = 132pounds

10kilos = 22pounds

Development of dialogue speech:

Ex.5 Listen and practice.

There is a dialogue between Asel and Jenny.

Pupils listen to the dialogue and read it in pairs.

Ex.7 Now, make up a dialogue with your classmate.

VI Conclusion:

  1. Setting the home task: ex.6 Complete the chart
  2. Putting marks.
