Monument to Saratov Accordion

Monument to Saratov Accordion is installed in Saratov at Kirov Avenue. The author of the monument was Saratov sculptor Vladimir Palmin.

The monument is a harmonica player sitting on a bench next to a lantern.

• The monument was sculpted from bronze in the city of Zhukovsky in the Moscow region.
• The height of the entire monument reaches 3 m 40 cm with a weight of 750 kg.
• The monument was erected in front of the Pioneer cinema on September 11.
• The grand opening was timed to coincide with the celebration of the City Day — September 12

At certain hours, the monument plays the songs of the local instrumental group.

The monument has become a city landmark and a popular places for photography.
