Разработка урока в 6-м классе по теме: “Look what youve done!” (Present Perfect Tense)

Цель урока:

  • Образовательная – развивать навыки чтения;

  • Развивающая – создание условий для развития речемыслительной активности;

  • Воспитательная – создание условий для воспитания культуры общения, развития социальных характеристик личности обучающихся; содействовать воспитанию ответственности к учебной деятельности;

Оснащение урока: учебное пособие «Английский язык 6 класс» Н.В. Юхнель, Е.Г. Наумова, Е.А. Родовская; раздаточный материал;

Ход урока:

Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see all of you. Please, take your sits.

Warming-up: Today we are talking about some funny situations that can happen with you, your friends or your family. You know that if we want to talk about some accidents which have happened with us we must use Present Perfect Tense. So, let’s do an exercise and revise it.

Exercise 1. Put the verbs in brackets into Present Perfect Tense Form.

1. You ____________ (break) the glass again.

2. The kids __________ (clean) the house.

3. They ___________ (prepare) a beautiful dinner for us.

4. He ___________ (do the washing). All clothes is clean now.

5. My little son ___________ (cut) his finger with a knife.

6. My dad ________ (wash) the car.

Aims: Ok, you’re very bright pupils. So, today we will learn to talk about funny or scary situation which have happened to us. We’ll also read a text about a New Year accident and we’ll try to make our own story about an accident.

Before reading task: Before reading the text let’s revise our active vocabulary and the exercises.

Relax minute: Now, let’s relax. I will name some household activities and you should show it.

After-reading exercise: Please, answer the question after the text.

1) When did the accident happen? 2) Where was Mum \ Dad \ Nick \ Rosie? 3) What were they doing? 4) Who came suddenly? 5) What happened in the end? 6) How did Nick \ Rosie feel in the end?

Speaking exercise: Now, let’s try to make your own accident story. You can use the pictures at page 126 – 127 ex.5 (This exercise will be your home task)

Revision: At the end of our lesson I advise you to read a joke-poem about “Santa’s accident”
