Halloween is the holiday of vampires, witches, ghosts and other evil spirits. children wear costumes and masks and go trick-or-treating. Some people have Halloween parties

Halloween, Oct. 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, observed with traditional games and customs. The word comes from medieval England's All Hallows' eve (Old Eng. hallow = «saint»)

The most celebrated Halloween decoration is the jack-o’-lantern , traditionally a hollowed-out pumpkin carved to resemble a grotesque face and illuminated by a candle placed inside .

  This holiday until recently  only in the United States and now it is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and gradually Russia.
