Цели урока:

Познакомить учащихся с популярными телевизионными шоу Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? и Star Academy и аналогами этих передач, идущими на российских телевизионных каналах;

Задачи:

Социокультурные: познакомить с программами британских каналов; развивать умения ориентироваться в реалиях, встречающихся в обыденной жизни в странах изучаемого языка, умения находить сходство и различия между программами в англоязычных странах и родной стране;

Развивающие: развивать способности к догадке, развитие способности к логическому изложению содержания, к формированию выводов и к выражению собственного мнения;

Воспитательные: развивать способности к общению, формировать способности к критическому мышлению, пониманию чужой точки зрения и формированию собственного мнения и желания расширять кругозор.

Образовательные: развивать речевые умения (монологическая форма общения); развивать умение читать с полным пониманием содержания, высказываться в соответствии с планом.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие:

Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls! Good morning, dear guests!

Students: Good morning, teachers!

Teacher: Today we`ll speak about British popular TV shows and your favourite TV programmes.

1. Актуализация лексических навыков по теме «Телевидение».

Do you want to play with me? Let`s remember the words on the topic “Television”

(ученики играют в «Лото»)

Учитель диктует слова на английском языке, у учеников таблица с русскими эквивалентами этих слов.

A feature, a satellite, a commercial, original, a service, to broadcast, high-grade, worldwide, entertainment, to provide, to offer, an advertisement, an audience.

1. Аудирование с целью полного понимания.

You know that there are a lot of different shows on British TV channels. Some shows are very popular and many TV viewers love watching them. Listen to what TV shows Jack and Jessica like. Guess what are the names of similar shows on Russian TV.

1. Игра-догадка.

Well, students we have some free time. I want to play with you. The game called “Guess the show”. I`ll describe you show, you name it.

1. It is a wedding show, where brides find their bridegrooms. It is transmitted on Channel 1 and is hosted by Larisa Gooseeva. (Давай поженимся)

2. It is an intellectual show hosted by Yuri Vyazemski, where teens chose coloured sections and answer on different questions. If they answer the question correctly, they get a medal. It is an original production of the Russian television. The award is graduation into the MGIMO institution. (Умники и умницы)

3. It is a show where celebrities compete on the ice rink dancing with the Olympic champions. The pair that scores the least points leaves the project. It is a wonderful show that transmitted on Channel 1 on Sundays. (Ледниковый период)

4. It is a show where people with brilliant voice compete with each other. There are four tutors: Pelageya, Dima Bilan, Alexander Gradski, and leonid Agutin. It is hosted by Dmitri Nagiev. (Голос)
