Hey, Kate. You know what? I’ve just found two pictures suitable for our project . Let me tell you a bit more about them.These pictures are relevant to our project because there are different kinds of city transport. In the first photo there is a bus on the street. There is its route written on it. I suppose it’s a Greek bus because this language looks like Greek. In the second picture there is another type of transport  — a train. It is standing on the station. There are some people on the station too. It can be also another type of public transport  — a metro. There are a few differences to illustrate our project better. Obviously, both of the pictures show different kinds of transport. The main difference is between the transport itself. Buses work on fuel or gas, while trains need only electricity.

In my opinion, both means of transport have their advantages. For instance, going by bus people can admire wonderful views of the city. As for the underground, this kind of city transport is the fastest. Of course, tthe two means of transport have disadvantages too. For example, traffic jams can make traveling by bus really awful. Meanwhile, the underground is usually crowded.

As for me, I can say that I prefer trains, because firstly it’s more ecological type of transport. Secondly, trains are usually much more comfortable transport to travel on a long distance.

Nowadays many people think that studying humanities is very valuable. The aim of the project I am currently working on is to find out more about it. As part of my project, I have found and analyzed some data on the most popular disciplines of humanities among students in Zetland.

According to the data, the students in Zetland have quite a wide range of human disciplines to study. Obviously, the most popular of them is Native language, 31% of the respondents have chosen it. Also, closely the same number of the students (29%) name Literature as their favourite subject. Moreover, Social studies is chosen by 20% of the respondents.

It is worth mentioning that Foreign languages are twice less popular than Native language. To my mind, the main reason is that students have not enough practice studying Foreign languages, so it is more difficult for them. At the same time Native language is spoken every day.

Statistics reveal one problem connected with studying humanities, only 5% of the respondents prefer History to other subjects. Lack of interest to learning about the past is a great problem nowadays. One solution to it is to include visiting museums and historical monuments, watching historical films and plays to the educational programme. All these can make it easy to understand the past.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that studying humanities is very important for students in Zetland. I think all these subjects broaden their horizons. (241 words)
