Тема: «Олимпийская символика»

Преподаватель: Брахнова Екатерина Александровна

Дисциплина: иностранный язык

Цель занятия: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции студентов с использованием изученных лексических единиц.

Задачи занятия:

1. Образовательные задачи:

- Активизация новых лексических единиц и речевых клише в диалогической и монологической речи.

2. Воспитательные задачи:

- Повышение мотивации изучения английского языка с помощью активного использования изучаемой лексики в социально-бытовых диалогах, наглядной демонстрации использования английского языка в повседневной жизни и связи предмета с реальностью.

-Развитие культуры межличностного общения.

- Развитие навыков работы в команде.

3. Развивающие задачи:

- Развитие коммуникативных умений (умение пользоваться речью – диалогической, монологической, умение выделять нужную информацию, умение отвечать на вопросы).

- Развитие учебно-организационных умений и навыков (навыков самостоятельной работы, умения работы с партнером).

ХОД И СОДЕРЖАНИЕ ЗАНЯТИЯ

1. Организационный этап (5 мин.):

Определение учащихся отсутствующих на занятии с привлечением структур самоуправления в группе для проверки наличия учащихся на занятии – учитель спрашивает ответственного за посещаемость об отсутствующих.

Совместное формулирование задач урока, краткое изложение учителем плана урока.

-Сегодня на уроке мы подготовим и драматизируем диалоги о спорте, ознакомимся с разными символами Олимпийских игр, узнаем новые выражения и применим их в кратком монологическом высказывании на тему: «Что вы знаете об Олимпийских играх?», послушаем официальный гимн Олимпийских игр. Также мы подготовимся к написанию Практической работы №6 Диалог «Занятия спортом. За и против», которую вы напишете дома, использовав материалы электронного УМК. Итак, начнем.

• Good day! Glad to see you on our lesson. So tell me who is absent?

Today we continue talking about the Olympic Games, drama the dialogues about sport, to know about different symbols of the O.G., to know the new phrases and use them in our short conversation about sport. And also be ready to write the Practical work №6 “Advantages and disadvantages of doing sport”.

2. Актуализация опорных знаний и умений, мотивация учебной деятельности и целеполагание. (15 мин)

• Установление связи темы урока с темой предыдущего урока.

Учитель: Last lesson we discussed with you the history of the Olympic Games, and different kinds of sport that we can find there. So let’s repeat them (на слайде 1 изображения разных видов спорта, учащиеся называют их).

Ответьте на вопрос: что еще является составляющими компонентами Олимпийских игр. What else can be the components of the O.G.?

И сегодня мы поговорим символах Олимпийских игр. Тема сегодняшнего урока – Олимпийская символика.

Today we talk about the symbols of the Olympic games. And the theme of our lesson is “The symbols of the Olympic games”.

• So let’s check your home task. It was to read a text, be ready to answer the questions and say are statements true or false and correct the false ones.

The Olympic Games

The first record of the games dates from 776 BC in Greece. The important sports in the original Olympic Games were running, jumping, wrestling, throwing the discus and throwing the javelin. Only men competed, and they wore no clothes in order to have greater freedom of movement.

The first modern Olympiad took place in Athens in 1896. Since then the Olympic Games have been held every four years with only two exceptions because of two world wars. There may be Summer and Winter Games.

In modern times the Olympic movement has become an enormous and expensive organization. The Winter Olympic Games are a multi-sport event held every four years.

The Winter Olympics have been hosted on three continents, but never in a country in the southern hemisphere. The United States has hosted the Games four times. France has been the host three times. Austria, Canada, Italy, japan, Norway and Switzerland have hosted the Games twice.

In 2014 Sochi will be the first Russian city to host the Winter Olympics. Our Government, Olympic Sport Committee and sportsmen are preparing for this event with great enthusiasm. Our sportsmen are going to win as many medals as they can. We will support our Olympic team.

• Какие олимпийские символы вы знаете? What the Olympic symbols do you know? (Слайд №2 символы Олимпийских игр)

Работа с упражнением в учебнике о некоторых фактов Олимпийских игр, что дает общую информацию о разных символах игр. Учащимся необходимо выбрать из списка слова и вставить их предложения. (стр. 192 упр. 10) (5 мин)

Put the circles of the flag into the correct order. Учащимся предлагается в качестве паузы расставить олимпийские круги на флаге в правильном порядке (правильный ответ выводится изображение флага на экран).

Учитель: Do you know the meaning of these colors? Знаете ли вы значение данных кругов? Учащиеся называют континенты и цвета соответствующие им. Таким образом осуществляется переход к следующему заданию. So let’s watch the video about the O.G. in Rio de Janeiro. Студентам предлагается просмотреть видео об Олимпийских Играх в Рио-де-Жанейро в 2016 и выполнить упражнения к видео. (15 мин)

Учитель: Match the words with their definitions. Для закрепление лексических оборотов отрабатывается упр. 13 на стр. 194, учащимся необходимо сопоставить слова с его определением. До выполнения данного упражнения, учитель переводит со студентами данные слова.

• Составление диалога. Для закрепления лексического материала учащиеся составляют диалог по теме спорт. Учитель раздает клише разных диалогов, задание студентов выделенные слова заменить на предложенные лексические единицы, или которые они придумают самостоятельно.

Учитель: Using the all information you need to make a dialogue. I give you the cliche, change the words in black, into another from the list of words. (10 мин)

После выполнения диалога, студенты возвращаются к упражнению 13, учащимся предлагается использовать одно из слов что бы построить предложение во времени Past Simple или Present Perfect. Тем самым идет переход от лексических единиц к грамматическим.

Учитель: Make up sentences in the Present Perfect or Past Simple using the words in brackets. Учащиеся выполняют упр. 14 стр 194, предварительно повторив правила грамматических времен. (15 мин)

За и против.» Ученикам объясняется, что они могут взять клише в УМК, использовать выражения в тетради для монологического высказывания. Также учитель дает наводящие вопросы, которые студенты могут использовать для выполнения практической работы.
