— an ongoing period in human history characterized by a global shift from the traditional industry established by the industrial revolution to the computerized industry. The era is also characterized by wide opportunities for individuals to freely transmit and receive information and instant access, both to the acquired knowledge and to any information about the plans set by humanity.

Communication

– is the process of exchanging information between different individuals. Communication is carried out by means of a certain system of symbols in oral or written form. At this moment in time, the world has changed dramatically.

Advantages and disadvantages of the information age

• Information covers all areas of human life.
• The informational unity of human civilization is being formed.
• The introduction of computer technologies in all spheres of society, which makes human activities much more convenient.
• There is a development of communications.
• The computer literacy of the population is increasing.
• Changing the way of life.

• Too much information prevents you from finally solving the problem of selecting information.
• Privacy is violated.
• Cultural expansion - the interests of national minorities and the national cultural heritage and language are not properly protected.
• Information inequality - reliable information is not available to members of society to the same extent.
• People are prone to psychological problems that are associated with virtual reality.

Is it possible to stop the new technological revolution?

• Probably not. If only…
