Конспект урока по английскому языку в 8 Б классе

Тема: «Книги в моей жизни. Круг чтения мой и моих сверстников».

Цель: Развитие коммуникативной культуры и социально-культурной образованности учеников, позволяющих поддержать беседу и выразить свое мнение по теме “Books in Our Life”.

Задачи урока:

Учебные: активизировать употребление лексики по теме «Books in my life», совершенствовать речевые умения, навыки чтения, монологической речи,  навыки аудирования.

Развивающие: развивать способность к умозаключению, развивать умение сравнивать, соотносить и обобщать, способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учающихся.

Воспитательные: формировать умение работать в коллективе;  воспитывать способность самостоятельно выполнять задания, формировать уважительное и ответственное отношение к книгам.

Оснащение урока:  раздаточный материал

Личностные УУД: осознание иностранного языка как основного средства общения между людьми.

Познавательные УУД: развитие логического мышления у учащихся.

Коммуникативные УУД: развитие коммуникативных качеств учащихся.

Регулятивные УУД: вовлечение учащихся в определении темы урока и целеполагания.

Тип урока: Урок обобщения и систематизации предметных знаний, умений, навыков.

Методы обучения: практический, словесный, наглядный.

Формы организации познавательной деятельности: индивидуальная, групповая.

Средства обучения: учебник «Enjoy English-5», рабочая тетрадь к учебнику, учебник «Happy English 4» Кузовлев В.П.

Ход урока:

Организационный момент. 

         Teacher: Good morning dear friends!

I’m very glad to see you again. How are you?  O’K. What date is it today?

Актуализация темы и задач урока.

Teacher: Dear boys and girls! What do you think what are we speaking about? Give me your ideas. I agree with you, we are speaking about books. And what questions are we discussing now?

What are the types of books?

Why is reading important?

What books do people read?

What do teenagers read?

Развитие устной речи.

T: Books play a great role in our life. Where can we borrow books? Do you sometimes go to the library? Have you got your own home library? There are many types of books.

I prefer (fairy tales, encyclopedia, handbooks, dictionaries, adventures, science fiction, short stories, historical novels, fantasy books, travel books ) because

I imagine myself travelling everywhere

I like to look at the beautiful pictures and guess what the characters would say and do

I am fond of history

I want to find some necessary information on any subject

I have to find words which I don’t know

I need to find additional information

I am fond of reading of adventures of a wizards and fairies 

I am keen on space travel, scientific experiments

I am keen on stories about life which are not long

I am fond of

What the family say about reading habits.(раздать тексты детям )

1). I love reading books about the life of the people. Especially about people who lived in the past like Winston Churchill. Of course, I wouldn’t mind reading about people living today such as well-known politicians, actors and actresses.

2). I like to read about love and adventure. These books are usually full of passion(страсть) and have interesting story lines and unusual endings that make me forget the problems of everyday life. I hate reading poetry especially modern poetry.

3). It’s really very interesting to read about mysterious and supernatural events. I am particularly captivated by characters who miss important clues and conduct investigations. I think it’s more interesting than interesting dull stories about usual things and everyday life.

4). Newspapers and magazines! They are packed with the latest news, information, fashion and facts. The only way to be in the know of everything is to read newspapers and magazines. There is also a lot of information about TV and sports.

5). Comics! They are brilliant. It’s really fun to follow the story line of the characters! Yes, I love them even more than fairy tales and rhymes. And I love to look at the colourful illustrations, too.
