         How to learn many English words in a short period? Today we will try to answer these questions and give good advice on how to enrich your vocabulary of the English language. First of all, my friends, understand that it is impossible to learn absolutely the entire English vocabulary due to human abilities and the structure of the brain. Nevertheless, it is quite possible to significantly replenish your vocabulary. And now we will tell you how this can be done.

        Some English learners complain that they are unhappy with their vocabulary. In addition, they admit that they remember new words poorly. You never have to despair, because experts will always come to the rescue and are ready to share useful tips.

       According to linguists, English has the largest number of words. And no matter what level you have — beginner or advanced, you are constantly adding to your vocabulary. On the one hand, these are completely new words. But you will also learn new meanings of those words that you already know. What is the advantage of a good vocabulary? The answer is obvious — your speech becomes fluent. Therefore, you need to take the graft to learn new words every day!

        Of course, if you are in an English-speaking country, this process occurs naturally. But everyone else should not give up, because you yourself can create the opportunity and conditions for vocabulary replenishment. Experts offer seven ways that have proven themselves in practice. But on one condition — you turn to them every day. So this:

         Tips on how to vocabulary: For daily communication, we need 1500 – 2000 words. This is quite enough to go on a trip, make purchases, chat in an informal setting.

          Now we will discuss ways to replenish your vocabulary with new words. Select the desired topic. The most effective way is to learn vocabulary on a specific topic: family, shopping, summer vacation, winter holidays, travel, etc. This will help you find common words, besides, words of one field of use are connected logically, they are in one context, so it will be easier for you to find the right word in memory (in any case, a synonym or an explanatory expression will be found). Enrich your vocabulary! Mark items.

        This method may seem ridiculous to you, but it works. On sticky stickers, write the English names of the items in your house and put these pieces of paper on the items: on the teapot, on the mug, on the bag, on the powder box, etc. This is a temporary measure until you learn the words.

        Thus, you can learn, for example, kitchen utensils, dishes or furniture in the room. Listen to English speech. Without this, friends. Try to watch talk shows, listen to TV and radio programs in English. In the process of listening, record unfamiliar words and phrases, and then learn them by heart. Learn the words on the cards. This method is suitable for those who get to work or go home on the subway. Prepare in advance cards with English words on the one hand, and on the other hand, with a Russian translation of these words. String these cards onto a cord and study them in as many words as you can learn in the meantime.

         This is a very effective method of replenishing English words, because you have to ride the subway every day, which means you do it every day. Read in English. Perhaps reading is the best way to help enrich the vocabulary of the English language, since visual memory works here. Start with short and easy stories, gradually moving to novels and novels. Reading in English, try to understand the meaning, translate, but not literally, but in general, to know what is being said.

           If you have such an opportunity, friends, go to the country where they speak English. Being among such people and hearing only English speech every day, 24 hours a day, you will speak English in two or three months. Such an environment will involve you and you simply have no choice. If this is not possible, then study English with a tutor, and not twice a week, but every day; and not one hour a day, but three or four hours.

        The only way you can expand your vocabulary. Learn different parts of speech. It is about learning not only nouns. During one lesson, try to cover several nouns, several verbs and adjectives, as well as adverbs, prepositions, etc. If you pay attention to the words of only one part of speech, you will have spaces in the rest.

          To communicate in English. If you have such an opportunity, try to speak English with your parents, friend or relative. If this is not possible, try to make friends with the British or Americans in the networks and chat with them in English. Ask them to point out and correct your mistakes.

        Communicating with the native speaker of the language, you can get acquainted with the peculiarities of live English speech. Friends, the main recommendations on enriching the lexical stock that work effectively were presented above.

        And now we would like to draw your attention to some details, which also very significantly improve and replenish the vocabulary of the English language.

Make a dictionary your reference book. Use not only English-Russian, Russian-English dictionaries, but also English-English, that is, a dictionary in which English words are explained in English. Give up online translators, they often translate literally, it turns out outright nonsense. The dictionary is much more useful and efficient. Learn the words, as well as synonyms and antonyms for them.          

          So your vocabulary will be much wider. Having learned a number of new words, do not forget to use them in speech, so that your vocabulary is alive.

After all, theory without practice is a useless thing. It is desirable to learn new words every day, at least for 10−15 minutes. So much more effective than learning one or two times a week for three to four hours.
