A Letter giving advice
When you write a letter giving advice, first you express your sympathy to the person who has got the problem, then you give him\her your advice. You finish you letter by wishing the person good luck.
You are Auntie Claire. This is part of a letter that a 15-year-old student has sent you. Read it, then write him\ her a letter giving your advice. Use the following useful expressions and plan.
Dear Auntie Claire,
I’ve just found out that I’ve failed my summer exams at school. I haven’t told my parents yet because I’m too scared. I’ll have to retake the exams in September, but I know I’ll fail again! What can I do? Please help me!
Don’t forget about: the heading , including the writer’s address and the date; the closing where the first word is capitalized and you put a comma after the last word.
