Narrator 1:

English language is known world wide

From all languages that were collide

English is known everywhere

It is great to use it anywhere

Upholding English to everyone

Speaking in English is very fun

Don't be shy and show your greatness

Use it when showing competitiveness

Speaking in English is as good as gold

The language of English we need to uphold

It's very fun when you come to think of it

When you're with your friends who also loves it

Narrator 2:

When you go to any country

This is the language of everybody

Being expressed in different place

Different accents on different place

The English language is my proficiency

Never be shy and express it freely

Just be confident and you'll be okay

Uphold English Proficiency and have a great day

Narrator 1: Hello boys and girls!

Narrator 2: Teachers and parents!

Narrator 1: Today we’re having the ABC-party, the festival of English language in which the pupils of the fifth forms are taking part.

Narrator 2: Now they know the letters of the alphabet, can sing English songs and recite English poems. Meet the pupils of the fifth form.

She lays eggs for gentleman

Sometimes nine and sometimes ten

Mary middling has a pig

Not very little and not very big

Not very pink and not very green

Not very dirty and not very clean.

Narrator 1: Ой, рахметжануар – достарым. Тақпақты жақсы айтады екенсіңдер. Ал енді сендердің мектепке әр күні қалай дайындалатындарыңды сөмкелеріңді қалай жинауларыңа байланысты, тексереміз.

Narrator 2: Thanks to all animals. Now will be a scene of “The wolf and seven little kids”. Dear, guests now you will meet them.

“THE WOLF AND SEVEN LITTLE KIDS”

Characters:  the storyteller, seven little kids, mother goat, the wolf.

Storyteller:(Амира) You know an old story about a wolf and seven little kids. Now the play begins!

Mother Goat has a jag or a milk can in her hand. She wants to go to the market. All her kids are around her.

Mother Goat: (Жұлдыз) Now my dear children, I must go to the market and get some milk for you.  You must sit still. You must not let anybody in. Lock the door and – Good bye! (kisses them and goes away).

Seven kids: Good-bye, good-bye! Come back soon!

Wolf:(Аяжан) (in a loud, rough voice): Open the  door! It’s me, your mother! I have some milk for you!

Seven kids: No, no you are not our mother!

1^st KID:(Амина)Our mother’s voice is soft!

2^nd KID: (Айнұр)Our mother’s voice is sweet!

3d KID: (Шарапат)We must not open the door to anybody!

Wolf:(Аяжан)You silly kids! (goes away).

Storyteller: (Амира)And the wolf goes and drinks some hot milk with a lot of butter in it. (The Wolf is in the background with a jug of milk in his hand).

Now his voice is soft, and he will go to the Goat’s house again.

Wolf: (Аяжан)(in a soft voice): open the door, my dear children! It’s me, your mother! I have some sweets for you!

Seven kids: No, no you are not our mother.

5^th KID:(Жамиля) Your voice is soft, but it is not mother’s!

Wolf: (Аяжан) But don’t you want these nice sweets!

2^nd KID: (Айнұр) We don’t want any sweets from you.

Wolf: (Аяжан) And I have some ice-cream for you!

3d KID:(Шарапат) We don’t want any ice-cream from you.

Wolf: (Аяжан) I have a lot of toys for you!

4^th KID: (Ақбота) We don’t want any toys!

Wolf: (Аяжан) Open the door or I shall break it!

5^th KID: (Жамиля)We are not afraid of you, big bad Wolf! The wolf goes away.

A very big stick. He wants to break the door.

1^st KID: (Амина)We are not afraid of the big bad Wolf! But we must fight him, if he comes back. (to the 2^nd,3d, 4^th, 5^th KIDS). You, and you, and you two go and get big stick. (to the 6^th and 7^th KIDS).And you two, take the pans and big spoons and…(whispers something to them. They nod.)… and stand behind the armchair.

They go to the armchair in the background.

Storyteller: (Амира)Do you hear? That is the wolf again!(the wolf come up to the door).

Wolf: (Аяжан) Do you give up?

Seven kids:  No, no!

Wolf:(Аяжан) Then I will break the door!

Seven kids: We are not afraid of you big bad Wolf!

Wolf:(Аяжан) Do you give up?  One!

Seven kids: No, no!

Wolf: (Аяжан) Do you give up? Two!

Seven kids: No, no!

Wolf: (Аяжан) Do you give up? Three!

Seven kids: No, no!

Storyteller: (Амира) Band! The wolf breaks the door!

The wolf rushes into the room. The fight begins. The 4^th and the 5^th Kids fall down. The 1^st kid takes a trumpet and blows it.  The 6^th and the 7^th kids jump up from behind the armchair and make an awful noise with their pans and spoons. The wolf is frightened.

Wolf:(Аяжан) Oh, what is that? What is that? I must run, I must run, quick, quick! He runs away. The kids run up to the 4^th and 5^th kids, lift them up and bandage. Mother goat comes in.

Mother Goat:(Жұлдыз) Oh, what’s the matter? What does all this mean?

1^st KID:(Амина) Everything’s all right, mother.

2^nd KID: (Іңкәрім) The Wolf wanted to eat us up!

3d KID:(Шарапат) But it is not so easy to eat us up!

4^th KID:(Ақбота) Mother I’m hurt!

5^th KID: (Жамиля) And so I am!

They all come closer to their mother, she kisses them.

Mother Goat: (Жұлдыз) Oh, my dear brave children! It’s very  good that you are not afraid of the Wolf. There are many wolves in the world, but if we fight all together, we shall win!

1. It can run and jump. It is not big. It is black, white or grey. It lives in the house. (a cat). 

Narrator 2:

1. It is big. It can run. It lives in the zoo. (anelephant). 

Narrator 1:

1. It is not big. It is white, red and black. It can fly and sing. It lives in the garden. (a cockerel).

Narrator 2:

1. It is red. It is not big. It can run and jump. It lives in the forest. (a fox). 

Narrator 1: Our next competition name is “Proverbs”.I need 6 pupils.Each paper has written by proverbs in the spread and you have to properly collect and translate to the Kazakh language.

Narrator 2:

Narrator 1: Құрметті оқушылар енді келесі сайысымыздың аты «Do you know these colours?» деп аталады.

Narrator 2: Бұл сайыстың шарты бойынша, тақтада ілулі тұрған шарлардың түстерін ағылшынша кім білсе сол келіп, инемен жарады.

Narrator 1: What colour is it?
