Mother’s Day

Mother's Day is a holiday celebrated in many countries around the world, but not all nations celebrate on the same day.

Every second Sunday in May English mothers become queen-for-a-day. Russian people celebrate Mother’s day on the eighth of March.

Children present cards, flowers their mothers.

In England this holiday was expanded to include all mothers and was called Mothering Sunday.
