Тема: «Christmas in Britain»

Цель урока:

Ознакомление учащихся с некоторыми традициями и обычаями празднования Рождества в Великобритании .

Задачи урока:

I. Образовательные:

   - активизировать употребление лексики в речи;

     - учить работать в группах;

     - учить учащихся логическому построению устного высказывания на английском языке;

     - формировать  коммуникативно-информационную компетентность;

II. Развивающие:

     - развивать творческую фантазию, познавательный интерес, инициативу в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности;

     -  развивать языковую догадку учащихся, наблюдательность;

     - способствовать развитию мышления, внимания, памяти, творческих способностей механизма  репродукции при обучении говорению.

III. Воспитательные:  

     - воспитывать у учащихся чувство прекрасного;

     - способствовать расширению кругозора и познавательного интереса учащихся к иноязычной культуре и традициям других народов.

Формы урока: фонетическая разминка; работа в группа;рефлексия.

Методы: проблемно-поисковый; коммуникативный; личностно-ориентированный; практический; деятельностный подход; ;   самооценка. 

Оборудование:  компьютер,  проектор,   доска.

Наглядные пособия:  видеофильм, учебник, презентация, раздаточный материал.

                                                               Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент. (Презентация)

Teacher : Good morning, children!

Students : Good morning, teacher!

T: I’m glad to see you.

S: I’m glad to see you too.

T: How are you?

S: I am fine, thank you. How are you?

T: I’m fine, thank you. Sit down, please. What date is it today? What day is it today? Look at the screen.What can you see?

S:Today is … We can see calendar.

T:What date is passed round? What is the holiday that we are going to talk about?

S: We are going to talk about Christmas.

T: Why are we going to talk about Christmas now?

S: We are going to talk about Christmas now because it’s coming soon in G.B.

T: That’s right. What is the aim of our lesson today?

S:Know more about Christmas.

T:What shall we do for it?

S:1.learn new words

3.Do the tasks

T: All right! The next task. Please match the English words with their Russian equivalents. (Учитель использует интерактивную доску.)

T: Well done! And I want you divide into 3 groups. And your task is look trough the text and write down unknown words.

T:How many words have you written down?

III.Физкультминутка.

T:Let’s sing Christmas song and do exercises.

IV. Чтение текста.

T:Now read the text and try to understand the meaning of the words that you have written down.And every group has its own task.

1.Make up 6 true ,false and not stated sentences.

2.Make up 6 questions.

3.Make up claster about the text.

You have 8 minutes.

T: Your time is over .Have you got the words that you haven’t known yet? (IF yes your hometask is find them in the dictionaries and write down them into your vocabularies.)

T:Let’s listen to the I group.Other groups say these facts are true or false or not stated.

T: Let’s listen to the II group.Other groups answer the questions.

T: Let’s listen to the III group.Other groups try to make up sentences using the words from the claster.

V. Аудирование с полным пониманием. (Просмотр видеофильма.)

 T: Now I suggest you to  watch  a  video film.. Look at the screen. (Учащиеся просматривают фильм..

T: You have seen the film a! What were the children doing?

P:They were writing Christmas cards.

T:You are right. Next lesson we’ll learn how to write cards.I think it will be interesting.

VI. Релаксация.

T: All right! Now look at our plan.Have we done everything?

P:Yes,we have.

T: Can you tell what was useful for you at the lesson? I hope you enjoyed the lesson, and also I hope you will enjoy the home task.

VII. Домашнее задание.

T: And now your home task.

1.You should write a letter to your friend how you are going to spend Christmas holiday. (for excellent mark.)

2. You should reduce the text and write down it.(for good mark)

3. You should make up a plan and write down it.(for satisfactory mark)
