"I think we gave some sort of freedom to the world. I meet a lot of people now who say The Beatles freed them up...I think we set free a lot of people who were blinkered, who were perhaps starting to live their Life along their parents' authoritarian lines.

Music That Influence On People

Nearly all humans listen to music. When you listen to a popular song, you might just be enjoying the feeling it gives you. Оr you might actually be listening to the words. People who like the same type of music hang out together. They have something common in music and they wear the same clothes. They think alike. Their ideas are alike because they listen to the same type of music. Music has an effect on every single aspect of some people's lives. I want to tell you about popular music rock-band “The Beatles”. The Beatles to this day are one of the most famous and popular rock'n'roll groups in the world. The group shattered many sales records and had more than fifty top hit singles. The Beatles started a new era of music. Their music was unusual because most rock was strong beat with no melody, and they added melody to the rock. The Beatles also added strong and meaningful lyrics

The Greatest Band оn The Planet

Staff of Band

All four the Beatles were born during 1940s and grew up in the seaport of Liverpool, the city on the banks of the River Mersey.

John, Paul, George and Ringo became more than just pop stars, they became the voice of a new generation.

John Lennon was the leader of the band John Lennon was born on the 9-th of October in 1940 in Liverpool. Young Lennon began to express himself through sketches and artwork. His teachers suggested the Liverpool art school. “Child genius” decided to study at unusually school. At 15 he met Paul McCartney, they created the songs. John Lennon was a poet, a composer, a soloist, a guitarist, a musician, a writer and one of the greatest man in popular music.

- Paul McCartney was born in 1942. Paul McCartney and John Lennon had melodic bass lines “Yesterday” was one of the most popular song. Paul McCartney was a poet, a drummer, a soloist, a guitarist, a musician, a producer, and a writer. From all the Beatles Paul McCartney made the most successful solo career

- The youngest of four children, George Harrison was born at the 25-th of February in 1943. In September 1954, George began attending the Liverpool Institute where Paul McCartney was a student. They become friends. He was a musician, a composer, a guitarist, a soloist, a gardener, a film producer and a record producer.

- Ringo Star was born on the 7-th of July in 1940. Drummer Ringo Star joined the Beatles when they were the top band in Liverpool and England. By August 1962 Ringo Star was in and the Beatles were born. Ringo Star wrote “Yellow Submarine” together with. He was a drummer, a composer, a musician, a singer. His real name was Richard Starky.

First steps

Lennon and McCartney had played together in a group called The Quarrymen. With Harrison, they formed their own group, The Silver Beatles, in 1959, and Starr joined them in 1962. As The Beatles, they developed a local following in Liverpool clubs, and their first recordings, "Love Me Do" (1962) and "Please Please Me" (1963), quickly made them Britain's top rock group. Their early music was influenced by the American rock singers Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley, but they infused a hackneyed musical form with freshness, vitality, and wit. Their first film, the innovative “A Hard Day's Night” (1964), was received enthusiastically by a wide audience that included many who had never before listened to rock music. Composing their own material (Lennon and McCartney were the major creative forces),The Beatles established the precedent for other rock groups to play their own music. Experimenting with new musical forms, they produced an extraordinary variety of songs: the childishly simple "Yellow Submarine"; the bitter social commentary of "Eleanor Rigby"; parodies of earlier pop styles; new electronic sounds; and compositions that were scored for cellos, violins, trumpets, and sitars, as well as for conventional guitars and drums. Some enthusiasts cite the albums Rubber Soul (1965) and Revolver (1966) as the apex of Beatle art, although Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), perhaps the first rock album designed thematically as a single musical entity, is more generally considered their triumph.

History

They started by playing rock’n’roll songs, but they quickly developed their own style. By 1963, they had become Britain’s top rock group. A year later they toured the United States, where they attracted millions of fans.
Beatles' first record 'Love Me Do', written by Lennon and McCartney in 1957 was released in October 1962. By the time they led the so-called British invasion of the United States in 1964, the  Beatles held the top five spots on the singles recording charts and they released their first film, 'A Hard Day's Night'. They also shut their second film "HELP" in 1965. As trendsetters, they  popularized long hair, mod dress, hallucinogenic drugs, Indian music, and Eastern mysticism.
The later Beatles albums were like variety shows a miscellany of rock, blues, country, folk, ballads, social commentary, nursery rhymes, 1920s parodies, and satires of other pop groups, with an occasional injection of surrealism. Most of their material was credited to Lennon and McCartney as a team. Their most acclaimed works  were the innovative Revolver (1966); the single-concept album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967); the exuberant "White Album," The Beatles (1968); and their last joint effort, Abbey Road (1969). (Let It Be, issued in 1970, had been delayed for simultaneous release with a film and book). The last concert appearance of the Beatles was in San Francisco in 1966.
After they broke up in 1970, Lennon  had begun recording with his second wife, the avant-garde conceptual artist Yoko  Ono, and McCartney formed the successful soft-rock group Wings with his wife, Linda. Harrison and Starr also recorded solo albums. Many people hoped that they    would gather again, but all their hopes were destroyd when John Lennon was murdered in New York on the 8th of December in 1980. Since that moment all of them realised that they would never gather again.

"The Beatles" had changed the nature of rock and pop music. They had introduced new sounds and rhythms, and they had experimented with different types of musical instruments. They had recorded hundreds of songs and they had sold millions and millions of records. They had made many films and many awards for their music. Today, Reatles songs are still very famous all over the world. The Beatles starred in two feature films, A Hard Days Night, which earned 1.3 million dollars in its first week, and Help. They also had their own full length cartoon called Yellow Submarine

"Beatlemania"

The release of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" in 1964 marked the beginning of the phenomenon known as "Beatlemania" in the United States. It was the word to describe the reaction of fans all over the world. A hysteria, called “Beatlomania” swept Britain and then France. Each their performance caused real hysteria, there were even fatal cases at their concerts. In the late 1960s the love of the Soviet youth for English music (first and foremost for 'The Beatles') became epidemic. At schools, colleges and universities of big cities there spring up scores of amateurish rock-groups (mostly quartets: three guitars and the percussions) performing songs by "The Beatles'. One of the oldest Russian rock groups Mashina Vremeni/Time Machine emerged at the crest of 'beatlomania' among Moscow students in 1968. My Research
